Maria Rodriguez was born in Mexico, raised in California, and is fluent in English and Spanish. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician, Ayurvedic Health Counselor, and Herbalist. Maria has worked with animals for over a decade and proudly earned her license to become a vet tech in 2015. Since receiving her credentials, she has worked side by side with some of the top veterinary specialists in Orange County, assisting them in the care of our furry friends and educating clients about their pets and their care. 

In 2017, Maria was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and it changed the trajectory of her career and lifestyle. That was when her healing journey began that led her to the world of Ayurveda. After doing some research, Maria met Dr. Ram and committed to a new lifestyle of cultivating balance. Under his care and guidance, she not only restored her health but transformed her life in ways she never believed possible. 

Since then, Maria has dedicated her studies to Ayurveda and recently earned her Ayurvedic Health Counselor Certificate in 2021 from the Joyful Belly online program. Her intention is to continue learning as much ayurvedic knowledge as possible and share it with the world and our furry friends. 

She believes that just as Ayurveda teaches us how to find balance within the laws of nature, the same applies to our furry friends and they too can also benefit from the alternative natural supplements and lifestyle practices that Ayurveda has to offer just as much as we can!
